It was Oscar Wilde who said "A gentleman is one who never hurts anyone's feelings unintentionally." It reminds me of a similar quote by Lillian Day: "A lady is one who never shows her underwear unintentionally." I agree with the first quote, but how does Ms. Day expect ladies to avoid doing something unintentionally? I would think that a woman who shows her underwear on purpose is no lady.
